Founded in 2002, Source Allies is a technology services company based in Des Moines, Iowa. We have extensive expertise in precision agriculture, energy, media, healthcare, and insurance. We take an iterative, cross-functional, team-focused approach to software development.

We share decades of experience and perspective with our partners. Our tested skills and insights extend beyond building quality software, and we provide hands-on mentoring. Known for their humility and down-to-earth attitude, our experts are always willing to roll up their sleeves and pitch in.

We take ownership of the solutions we develop for our partners. It might sound like a simple thing, but this mindset is very different from a temporary contractor attitude. We aren't brought in to execute a task list; instead, our partners can expect our teammates to take ownership from beginning to end.

In 2002, Matt Vincent founded Source Allies to work with people who value freedom of choice, autonomy, humility, and continuous learning. Our shared desire for freedom is reflected in a number of ways:

In order to accomplish this freedom, our flat organizational structure parallels semi-autonomous work groups found in manufacturing. By forming self-directed software teams, our experts are empowered to make team decisions based on consensus.

Our partners tell us we act like owners, not renters. Our slippers symbolize this owner mindset. Renters wear shoes at home, but an owner takes them off as they come through the door. We wear slippers in the office for the same reason.

AWS Advanced Consulting Partner

We are one of the only Iowa based AWS Advanced Consulting Partners. This status is granted to organizations with a high number of technically certified engineers, significant experience creating solutions on the AWS platform, and consistent customer satisfaction. Our advanced status accelerates our ability to help our partners design, architect, build, migrate, and manage their workloads and applications.

Whether our partners have existing AWS initiatives, or are brand new to the cloud scene, our engineers bring with them the experience of many successful AWS projects.
